Behind the main barn is this roundish cobblestone courtyard. There are hitching rails for grooming and tacking, a watering trough, and a mounting block. It's especially busy early mornings and evenings, right before the favored times to ride.

Gaia Stable is the larger of the two boarding barns, where the unicorns belonging to or leased from Neptune are kept. It is the older barn, dimly lit, home to owls at night and bats in the day. It smells of cedar and dust.

The smaller, newer barn is several hundred yards to the west of the Gaia barn. This space is for those who board their own unicorns.

Turnout pastures for the Neptune-owned unicorns. Wide, spacious, and grassy, they are open all year for the Neptune unicorns.

These pastures are available for those who board their unicorns at Neptune. They are open from April through October, when the weather becomes too cold for the unicorns to stay outside all the time.

The larger riding ring is under a large green awning behind Gaia stable. It is set up as a lesson ring, with a course of jumper fences. It's used for all lessons unless the weather is spectacular.

This ring is less well-kept. It's surrounded by waist-high barley grass, and there aren't any fences. It's used mainly for hacking or lunging.

Much of Neptune's money comes from boarders not of the equine kind, but the human. Kids from 13 to 20 can rent a cabin for the summer, and use all of Neptune's facilities and charges for free.
Please keep in mind that, while the facility is coed, the rooms themselves are strictly single-sex!

Next door to Sycamore Feed is the Maple Leaf Cafe. The food is decent, the coffee passable; but it's open and welcoming, and a good place to hang out.

Not much happens in this small a town, but hey, that's what they always say.

At the outskirts of town stands this abandoned old barn. It's accessible from Neptune's trails, so kids ride down here to swing from the rope hung from one of the rafters or keep cool on hot days. Of course, rumor has it it's haunted, but that's just rumor... right?
